SINALOA, Mexico — One of Mexico's most wanted drug lords was killed Wednesday in a gun battle with Mexican security forces.
Arturo Beltran Leyva — who called himself the "boss of bosses" — headed a powerful cartel based on the Pacific Coast. The government had offered a $2.4-million reward for his capture.
