Afghan president to visit India next month
NEW DELHI, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai is to visit India next month, local media reported Friday.
Though President Karzai's visit will be at the behest of an the invitation by an Indian university based in the western state of Maharashtra's Pune city, he will be received by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the national capital, The Times of India newspaper reported.
During a bilateral meeting, the two leaders will review relations, especially the security situation in the war-ravaged country ahead of the withdrawal of international forces next year, the report said.
President Karzai visited India earlier this year.
