Indian stocks open higher

MUMBAI, June 19 (Xinhua) -- India's stocks opened higher on Thursday on a positive note led by gains in capital goods, power, IT and banks after a sharp correction in previous session.

The BSE benchmark index Sensex opening at 25,327.09 points, 80. 84 points or 0.32 percent up from the previous close of 25,246.25 points.
