Correspondents

David Trifunov is a GlobalPost Breaking News writer and an award-winning freelance journalist based in Kelowna, British Columbia. His work has appeared on CNN.com, Salon.com and in newspapers across Canada, including the Ottawa Citizen, Calgary Herald and Vancouver Sun. He's the former Night News Editor at The Daily Courier in Kelowna as well as the Courier's former sports editor. Dave was twice nominated for the Fred Sgambati Media Award as the top journalist covering Canadian Interuniversity Sport. He is a graduate of the journalism program at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary.
