Michael D. Sullivan

Michael D. Sullivan is the former Senior Asia Correspondent for National Public Radio in the U.S. His last posting for NPR was in Hanoi, Vietnam, covering Southeast Asia. Before that he was based in New Delhi and Islamabad, covering the conflict in Afghanistan as well as other conflicts and political developments in the region.

Prior to that he was the Senior Producer of NPR’s Foreign Desk and, previously, the Producer of NPR’s “All Things Considered.” Michael is the recipient of Overseas Press Club awards for his work in Haiti and Vietnam and the Robert F. Kennedy award for his work in Sarajevo during the Bosnian war.
