Sasha Chavkin

Sasha Chavkin is a reporter based in New York City. He has written for ProPublica, the Center for Public Integrity and The New York World. His stories have examined topics from a sex-segregated public bus in Brooklyn to a mysterious kidney disease killing thousands of agricultural workers in Central America and South Asia. He has been recognized with a Sigma Delta Chi award for public service from the Society of Professional Journalists and a Sidney Award from the Sidney Hillman Foundation.
