Thank you for considering GlobalPost Passport for your custom research project. The value that GlobalPost Passport brings to your research request is that the result will be journalistic in nature. Your project will be reported with the highest journalistic standards and with the goal of providing you a report that represents the truth as best as it can be found by a highly skilled on-the-ground professional journalist.

Please note that you must agree to the following guidelines before your research project can begin:

• We reserve the right to reject a research request or to halt research in progress if circumstances warrant. A project will not be accepted if:
  • It serves the public relations interests or narrow advocacy agenda of a client.
  • It pertains to a legal, regulatory, public or other controversial issue in which the client or its competitors are directly involved.
  • It could compromise the journalistic integrity of GlobalPost or its correspondents.

GlobalPost retains ownership of the underlying reporting involved in all research projects. Such information may be used in other GlobalPost content but will be embargoed from any such publication for at least two weeks from the date the report is delivered to the client. The only exception to this rule is when information uncovered in the course of the research is deemed by GlobalPost to have significant news value that compels public disclosure.

GlobalPost Passport will deliver reports in final form for the exclusive use of its client. Requests for changes, edits or suppression will be honored at the sole discretion of GlobalPost Passport.

Any distribution or representation of GlobalPost Passport research must include proper attribution.

GlobalPost requires 50% payment before work can begin and 50% upon delivery of the final report.
