Hollywood has been good to President Barack Obama this past month.

The film industry's star power raised some $13 million in four Los Angeles events in October for the president's re-election campaign.

On Thursday evening, First lady Michelle Obama attended a sold-out fundraiser at the home of Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

You all have done so much work," Obama told the audience. "And I am honored and, yes, I’m going to go home, brag to Barack."

She added: "It has been a privilege to get to know Will and Jada and their beautiful family. They have stepped up for us in so many ways, and it has truly just been a gift and a blessing to have you guys as friends and as part of our lives."

Salma Hayek, Wendy Williams, Vivica A. Fox, and singer Katy Perry, who performed at an Obama rally in Las Vegas the previous night, also attended the fundraiser.

Earlier this month, the president attended two fundraisers "including a concert with Katy Perry and Stevie Wonder," and an event with former President Bill Clinton, the Reporter wrote.

Obama recently flew to Los Angeles and stopped by "The Tonight Show" to chat with late night host Jay Leno. While the two traded jokes, the president also spoke about serious campaign topics including Indiana Republican Richard Mourdock’s comments on rape, Donald Trump's latest announcement and the conflict in Afghanistan.
