Hong Kong shares rose 0.52 percent to a 21-month high by the end of the morning session on Monday after a rally on Wall Street that was spurred by upbeat US jobs data.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 122.21 points to 23,844.05 on turnover of HK$94.36 billion ($12.17 billion).
