Hong Kong stocks tumble 2.27% by close
Hong Kong shares dived 2.27 percent on Tuesday after big losses on Wall Street fuelled by concerns over political instability in Spain and Italy.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 536.48 points to 23,148.53 on turnover of HK$87.76 billion ($11.32 billion).
Chinese shares closed up 0.20 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 4.98 points to 2,433.13 on turnover of 127.1 billion yuan ($20.4 billion).
