Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal took back the men's world downhill title here Saturday to win his eighth world championship medal and second in Schladming after super-G bronze.
The 2007 downhill world champion and Olympic silver medallist dominated the race with a time of 2min 01.32sec, ahead of Italy's Dominik Paris and France's David Poisson.
