Canada's national champions Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford won the pairs title with a total score of 199.18 points at the Four Continents figure skating championships Sunday.
Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch, the runners-up to Duhamel and Radford at the Canadian nationals last month, topped the free skating table but finished second overall on 196.78 points.
The US pair of Marissa Castelli and Simon Shnapir finished third on 170.10.
Duhamel and Radford, who finished second at the Four Continents in 2011 but fourth last year, went out with a 4.11-point lead over the domestic rivals from Friday's short programme.
Skating to "Angel" by Philippe Rombi, they earned 128.74 points in the free programme, second to 130.45 for Moore-Towers and Moscovitch, who chose "Queen Medley" for their music.
Castelli and Shnapir scored the third best of 117.04 in the long programme as they performed to "Payadora" by Julian Plaza.
