The death toll from a bomb attack targeting Shiite Muslims in a busy market in Pakistan's insurgency-hit southwest has risen to 79, police said early Sunday.
"We have recovered more dead bodies from the debris of a collapsed building. The death toll has now risen to 79," police official Wazir Khan Nasir told AFP, as rescue workers searched for survivors at the blast site in Hazara town, an area dominated by Shiites on the outskirts of Quetta, in Baluchistan province.
