Star striker Didier Drogba and Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder will make their Champions League debuts for Galatasaray in Wednesday's Last 16, first-leg clash at home to Schalke.
Galatasaray signed Drogba, who scored the decisive penalty for Chelsea in the penalty shoot out against Bayern Munich in last season's Champions League final, and Sneijder in last month's transfer window from Shanghai Shenhua and Inter Milan respectively.
Drogba, who partners Burak Yilmaz up front, scored in the Turkish league last Friday after coming off the bench in the 2-1 win at Akhisar Belediyespor, while Sneijder starts on the left wing.
Schalke, who have just one win from their last 12 matches, welcome back Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar up front after he recovered from a burst vessel in his eye.
