South Korea striker Ji Dong-Won scored his first goal for Bundesliga strugglers Augsburg on Saturday since his loan move from Sunderland in his side's 2-1 win at home to Hoffenheim.
The 21-year-old converted a cross on the stroke of half-time and his deft chip over Hoffenheim's on-loan Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes gave Augsburg the lead.
Ji, who is being used as an attacking midfielder by Augsburg, was part of the South Korea team which won bronze at the 2012 Olympics, and had his first shot after just two minutes before coming off with 20 minutes left.
It was his first goal in six Bundesliga games as his Bavarian team made sure of only their third win of the season when striker Sascha Moelders fired home ten minutes from time.
Hoffenheim striker Igor de Camargo scored a consolation goal two minutes into stoppage time as the guests suffered their eighth defeat in 10 games which saw them slip down to 17th in the table.
They swapped places with Augsburg, who are up to 16th, but remain nine points from safety.
