Rilee Rossouw and Dean Elgar scored 61 runs each and steered Knights to a nine-wicket victory over Dolphins Wednesday in the South African Twenty20 Challenge.
Dolphins made 131-5 in 20 overs with Khayelihle Zondo (43) and Vaughn van Jaarsveld (39 not out) the leading run getters and Johan van der Wath (2-29) best of the bowlers.
Knights opener Loots Bosman was out third ball for three before Rossouw and Elgar took charge, striking 17 fours and two sixes between them en route to 133-1 and a first victory of the T20 season after two losses.
The win lifted the Bloemfontein-based franchise to fourth in the six-team table while Dolphins from Durban remain bottom having lost three of four games with the other washed out.
