Titans moved above Cape Cobras into second place on the South African Twenty20 Challenge table with a six-wicket victory Thursday.
Cobras scored 116-4 off 20 overs and Titans reached 117-4 after middle-order batsman David Wiese struck a single off the fourth ball of the penultimate over at Willowmoore Park east of Johannesburg.
Wicketkeeper Dane Vilas (59 not out) was the lone Cobras' batsman to impress with Omar Shah (17) next best while Albie Morkel (2-14) and Ethy Mbhalati (2-15) impressed with the ball for Titans.
Opener Jacques Rudolph (49) gave Titans' run chase a solid start, Martin van Jaarsveld contributed 24, and unbeaten Wiese (6) and Albie Morkel (9) saw the Titans safely home.
Highveld Lions have 17 points, Titans 10, Cobras eight, Knights five, Warriors four and Dolphins two after four rounds of the race to become South African champions in the shortest form of the game.
