Hong Kong stocks end 0.61% lower
Hong Kong shares fell 0.61 percent on Friday after Chinese data showed growth in manufacturing activity on the mainland had slowed last month.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 140.05 points to 22,880.22 on turnover of HK$77.69 billion ($10.02 billion).
Chinese shares closed down 0.26 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 6.08 points to 2,359.51 on turnover of 111.5 billion yuan ($17.9 billion). However, the index gained 1.96 percent for the week.
