Hong Kong stocks down 1.30% by break


Hong Kong stocks fell 1.30 percent by the break Monday following healthy gains at the end of last week, while traders eyed big losses in China after Beijing unveiled new measures to curb property prices.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index lost 297.35 points to 22,582.87 on turnover of HK$41.04 billion ($5.29 billion).
