Czech Republic midfielder Rudolf Skacel has completed his return to former club Slavia Prague after his contract expired with Scottish Premier League outfit Dundee United, the Czech club announced Wednesday.
The 33-year-old veteran won the Czech Cup with the team in 2002 before a series of moves that included spells with Marseille, Hearts, Southampton, Hertha Berlin and a brief return to Slavia Prague in 2009.
He made more than a hundred appearances in the Scottish top flight and scored in two Scottish Cup finals, helping Hearts to the trophy in 2006 and 2012.
The last of his seven caps for the Czech Republic was in 2010 and he was an unused squad member as the team went out in the first round at Euro 2008.
