European stocks close with more gains

Europe's main stock markets closed higher again on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies gaining 0.69 percent to 6,483.58 points on positive Chinese economic data and upbeat US jobs figures.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.59 percent to 7,986.47 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 jumped by 1.22 percent to 3,840.15 points.

Investors were encouraged by a net gain of 236,000 US jobs and data that showed Chinese exports surging by more than 20 percent in February, another sign of recovery for the world's second-largest economy.
