Austrian inflation eases to 2.5%
Annual consumer price inflation eased in Austria to 2.5 percent in February from a revised 2.7 percent in January, the national statistics office said Friday.
Under the European Union harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), the European Central Bank's inflation yardstick, 12-month inflation in the eurozone member fell to 2.6 percent from 2.8 percent.
On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 0.3 percent in February from January.
