Ski jumping: World champion Stoch wins in Trondheim

Poland's world champion on the big hill, Kamil Stoch, won the World Cup event at Trondheim in Norway on Friday with Austria's Gregor Schlierenzauer, already assured of the overall season title, down in 18th spot.

Stoch, with a second leap of 140m, took first place with 280.4 points while Germany's Richard Freitag was second on 278.7 pts. Japan's Daiki Ito was third on 272.1.
