Cricket: Sri Lanka put Bangladesh in to bat

Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews elected to field after winning the toss against Bangladesh in the second and final Test in Colombo on Saturday.

The hosts made one change from the side which drew the opening Test in Galle as they brought in paceman Suranga Lakmal in place of spinner Ajantha Mendis.

Bangladesh replaced Anamul Haque, Elias Sunny and Shahadat Hossain with Tamim Iqbal, Robiul Islam and Rubel Hossain.

Bangladesh: Mushfiqur Rahim (capt), Tamim Iqbal, Jahurul Islam, Mohammad Ashraful, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Nasir Hossain, Mominul Haque, Abul Hasan, Sohag Gazi, Robiul Islam, Rubel Hossain.

Sri Lanka: Angelo Mathews (capt), Dinesh Chandimal, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kumar Sangakkara, Lahiru Thirimanne, Shaminda Eranga, Kithuruwan Vithanage, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Kulasekara, Rangana Herath.
