Alpine Skiing: Neureuther pips Hirscher to slalom win

Germany's Felix Neureuther won the final World Cup slalom of the season here on Sunday as he pipped Crystal Globe winner Marcel Hirscher into second.

Austrian world champion Hirscher was already guaranteed of winning both the slalom and overall World Cup titles.

Croatia's Ivica Kostelic finished third.

A month after winning silver at the World Championships, Neureuther won the fifth World Cup race of his career and his second this season.
