Thai veteran Thaworn Wiratchant said he was hoping for a morale-boosting win at next week's Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia PGA Championship before packing his bags for the US Masters.
The 46-year-old, who received a Masters invite on the back of a successful 2012, will search for his third win in Indonesia at the March 28-31 event at Jakarta's Emeralda Golf Club.
"I am looking forward to playing the tournament and a victory would be great for my confidence just ahead of the Masters," Thaworn, a two-time winner of the Indonesia Open, said in a press release from the OneAsia golf tour on Monday.
"I have won two tournaments in Indonesia and hopefully I can make it three."
Thaworn won four international titles last year and topped the Asian Tour order of merit for the second time. On Sunday he equalled the course record at the Thana City Golf and Sports Club to finish joint 12th in the Thailand Open.
India's Jeev Milkha Singh, Liang Wenchong of China and Japan's Shingo Katayama are other top names playing in Jakarta next week. The Masters at August National is April 11-14.
