European stocks close lower

Europe's main stock markets posted further losses on Tuesday on concerns over Cyprus' bailout, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies losing 0.26 percent to close at 6,441.32 points.

In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 dropped 0.79 percent to 7,947.79 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 shed 1.30 percent to 3,775.75 points.
