Hong Kong stocks close 0.14% lower
Hong Kong shares fell 0.14 percent on Thursday despite data showing manufacturing activity in China had picked up in March.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 30.56 points to 22,225.88 on turnover of HK$64.92 billion ($8.38 billion).
Chinese shares closed 0.30 percent higher. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 6.87 points to 2,324.24 on turnover of 104.8 billion yuan ($16.9 billion).
