Japan's Satoshi Hosono will challenge unbeaten World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight champion Chris John of Indonesia next month, his gym announced on Friday, his third attempt at the title.
The bout will take place in Jakarta on April 14.
"I've never expected to have the chance of challenging for the world title for a third time. I'm determined to win the title this time," said Hosono, 29.
Hosono, ranked sixth in the WBA, has 23 wins, including 17 KOs against two defeats, while John has 48 wins, including 22 KOs and two draws.
