Hong Kong stocks down 0.33% by break

Hong Kong shares slipped 0.33 percent by the break Tuesday after a European official suggested a levy on bank deposits used in the Cyprus bailout could be the template for future rescues.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased 74.46 points to 22,176.69 on turnover of HK$31.13 billion ($4.02 billion).
