Japanese shares end 0.18% higher

Tokyo stocks rose Wednesday after the Dow Jones index on Wall Street ended at another record high, while concerns over the Cyprus bailout receded.

The benchmark Nikkei index was up 0.18 percent, or 22.17 points, at 12,493.79, while the Topix index of all first-section shares added 0.20 percent, or 2.05 points, to 1,046.47.
