Slovenian official inflation eases in March

Slovenian 12-month inflation fell to 2.0 percent in March from 2.7 percent in February, the eurozone country's statistics office said on Friday.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.3 percent compared to a 0.8 percent increase in February, the office said.

Using the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), the European Central Bank's yardstick, 12-month inflation fell to 2.2 percent in March from 2.9 percent a month earlier.
