Football: Lennon in dock over touchline outburst

Celtic manager Neil Lennon faces disciplinary action over his language during his side's 1-1 draw at St Mirren, the Scottish Football Association announced on Wednesday.

The SFA has issued Lennon with a notice of complaint that accuses him of "failure to behave in a responsible manner as an occupant of the technical area by repeated use of offensive, insulting and abusive language".

Live television coverage of the game on Sunday suggested Lennon swore at St Mirren captain Jim Goodwin after he committed a tackle near the visiting dug-out.
