Tokyo stocks jump in early trade after BoJ easing

Tokyo stocks jumped by more than four percent in early trade on Friday a day after the Bank of Japan unveiled fresh easing measures that sent the yen tumbling against the dollar.

The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 4.33 percent, or 546.52 points, to 13,181.06 several minutes after the opening.
