Football: Celtic manager Lennon gets three-game ban

Celtic manager Neil Lennon will serve a three-match touchline ban after a suspended suspension was triggered when he was found guilty of misconduct during a game against St Mirren, the Scottish Football Association announced on Thursday.

An SFA disciplinary tribunal found that Lennon had breached competition rules when he used offensive language against St Mirren captain Jim Goodwin during the Scottish Premier League encounter on March 31.

Although no sanction was imposed, Lennon had a suspended three-match ban against his name from last season that came into effect.

He has five days to launch an appeal.
