Hong Kong stocks down 1.87% by break

Hong Kong stocks ended the morning session 1.87 percent lower on Monday after strong US jobs data increased the likelihood the Federal Reserve will begin to wind down its stimulus programme soon.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased 390.87 points to 20,463.80 by the break, on turnover of HK$28.24 billion (US$3.64 billion).
