Hong Kong shares rose 0.46 percent on Tuesday following another rally on Wall Street, while higher-than-expected Chinese inflation data also provided a boost.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 100.82 points to 20,683.01 on turnover of HK$44.00 billion ($6.68 billion).
Chinese shares ended up 0.37 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 7.18 points to 1,965.45 on turnover of 52.2 billion yuan ($8.5 billion).
