Hong Kong stocks down 0.22% by break

Hong Kong shares slipped 0.22 percent by the break Monday, in line with losses in Shanghai after China relaxed limits on lending rates, which analysts said could lead to narrower margins for lenders.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index shed 47.19 points to 21,315.23 on turnover of HK$21.14 billion (US$2.73 billion).
