Cricket: Australia 298 all out against England

Australia, after winning the toss, made 298 all out against England in the day/night fifth and final one-day international at Southampton on Monday.

Shane Watson top-scored with 143, his eighth hundred in 165 ODIs and third against England, and shared a fourth-wicket stand of 163 with Australia captain Michael Clarke (75).

But Durham pace-bowling all-rounder Ben Stokes prevented Australia from going beyond 300 with a return of five wickets for 61 runs, his maiden five-wicket haul in 10 matches at this level, while debutant seamer Chris Jordan took three for 51 in his 10 overs.

The five-match series is all square at 1-1.
