France's former WBO world middleweight champion Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam will return to the ring next month in Barcelona when he takes on Ireland's Anthony Fitzgerald.
Hassan N'Dam lost his WBO title in October 2012 in New York suffering his first defeat in 28 fights following a unanimous points decision in favour of American-Cuban boxer Peter Quillin.
"I wasn't at ease at that time and I was busier with administrative tasks relating to this fight than my preparation," the 29-year-old told AFP.
"This year I had six chances to get back into the ring, including two against the Kazakh Gennady Golovkin, undefeated WBA champion, which didn't come to anything."
His return after 13-months out will take place on December 14 against Fitzgerald, who has 14 wins from 19 bouts.
