Ukraine refuses to respond with force to Russian 'provocation'

Ukraine refuses to respond with force to Russia's "provocation" in the flashpoint peninsula of Crimea, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said Saturday, after Russian soldiers were reported to have been sent to the region.

"The inadequate presence of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory is a provocation, and Russian attempts to make Ukraine react with force have failed," he said at a a televised cabinet meeting.
