Cricket: England 167-6 against Scotland

England made 167 for six against Scotland in the lone one-day international at Aberdeen on Friday after rain before and during their innings reduced the match to a 20 over per side contest.

Ian Bell top-scored with 50 and England captain Alastair Cook made 44 after the visitors lost the toss.

Somerset seamer Josh Davey led Scotland's attack with three wickets for 28 runs, including two in two balls in the final over.

Scotland were set an adjusted target of 173 to win under the Duckworth/Lewis method for rain-affected matches.
