Test centre Greg Inglis was included in a 22-man Queensland squad Monday for next week's second State of Origin game against New South Wales, as the Maroons struggle with an injury crisis.
Inglis damaged ankle ligaments playing for his NRL club South Sydney on the weekend putting him in doubt for Queensland's must-win match in Sydney on June 18.
But his club said there was no high ankle sprain and Inglis will go into camp with the Queensland squad on Tuesday for further treatment.
Queensland, who lost the Origin series opener 12-8 in Brisbane on May 28, are already without Test scrum-half Cooper Cronk (broken arm), while Test fullback Billy Slater is in doubt with a shoulder injury.
The Maroons added Sam Thaiday, Anthony Milford, Will Chambers, Willie Tonga, Ben Hunt and Jacob Lillyman as they sort through a lengthy injury list ahead of next week's match.
