Trailer for J.J. Abrams’ 'Almost Human' sci-fi series makes a virtual splash

The upcoming sci-fi drama "Almost Human," to be aired on Fox at the start of 2014, is unveiled in a teaser trailer that's causing a sensation on the web.

After "Fringe," the previous science-fiction series helmed by J.J. Abrams, wound down in January, loyal Fox viewers will find consolation in "Almost Human," a futuristic drama in which LAPD officers are partnered with humanoids.

The mastermind of "Lost" is teaming up again with J.H. Wyman, the showrunner, writer and producer of "Fringe," to mount this new series, which Fox is reserving for mid-season.

The TV network presents all its new serial picks for the 2013/2014 season, including trailers to "Sleepy Hollow," "Rake," "Enlisted," "Gang Related," "Surviving Jack," "Dads," "Us and Them" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," on the Fox Broadcasting YouTube Channel at
