French Open: This year's high-tech tennis apparel

The French Open will be getting under way at Roland Garros Stadium in Paris on Sunday, May 26. Several tennis champs will be competing, starting with the current World No. 1-ranked player Novak Djokovic, who was a finalist at Roland Garros in 2012. Here's what the six favorites in men's singles, including reigning title-holder Rafael Nadal, will be wearing on the court.

Novak Djokovic - UniqloThe world's top-seeded player will be dressed by Uniqlo, which has been sponsoring the Serbian powerhouse for over a year now. On the clay court in Paris, Djokovic will probably be sporting canary yellow apparel, the same color he wore to victory at Monte-Carlo in April. In the meantime, fans can get a gander at the Novak Djokovic Performance Wear he donned for the Australian Open in January on Uniqlo's web site.

David Ferrer - LottoThe top-seeded Spanish player (ahead of Rafael Nadal) opts for the Matrix line: garments finished in titanium crystal, which ensures the release of negative ions that "help to expel sweat quickly," according to the manufacturer, and provide a sensation of well-being. The outfit is rounded out by Raport Ultra IV Speed tennis shoes, featuring a slightly concave outsole using so-called ReactiveArch technology for "maximum cushioning, stability and energy return on impact with the ground."
