Reiss launches new men's and women's fragrances

The upmarket high street label is branching out into the world of fragrances with two new scents, Grey Flower and Black Oudh. 

The debut fragrances from Reiss are set to launch exclusively at Selfridges and will appear online from September. 

The scents were created by renowned London based nose Azzi Glasser, who worked together with Reiss founder and Managing Director David Reiss. Glasser has previously concocted fragrances for Nicole Farhi, Agent Provocateur and Illamasqua. 

Grey Flower, the women's scent, opens with armoise and pimento berry, evolving into jasmine, wood and cocoa, over the top of an amber, musk and patchouli base. For men, the Black Oud eau de toilette is also woody, with laurel leaf and cyprus opening up into a sage and vetiver heart. The fragrance lives up to its name with musk, amber and black oudh basenotes. 

Both fragrances will sell at £49 (approx. €57) for 100ml, and £35 (approx. €40) for 50ml, and the women's scent will also available in a smaller 30ml spray for £25 (approx. €30), according to Fashion Monitor.
