Rio de Janeiro, Mar 29 (EFE).- Officials in Rio de Janeiro urged Tom Cruise, now in Brazil to promote his latest film, to shoot the fifth installment of the "Mission:Impossible" here in the "Marvelous City."
"We invite him to film the scenes of 'Mission:Impossible 5' in Rio de Janeiro and he said he will look at the project," municipal Culture Secretary Sergio Sa Leitao told news Web site UOL.
Cruise, the official said, called the idea "phenomenal and promised that he will shoot a film here, if it's not 'Mission:Impossible,' certainly it will be another film."
"He said he would love to film here in Rio de Janeiro, his favorite city," Sa Leitao said.
Cruise, accompanied by co-stars Olga Kurylenko and Andrea Riseborough, came to Rio to promote his latest release,"Oblivion," and decided to spend a few extra days in the Marvelous City."
