Barcelona, Apr 1 (EFE).- Coach Francesc "Tito" Vilanova traveled to Paris on Monday with FC Barcelona, making his first road trip with the squad since returning to Spain last week after a 10-week stay in New York to undergo treatment for throat cancer.
FC Barcelona will play Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday in a Champions League quarterfinal.
The 44-year-old had not traveled with the team since mid-January and had his first contact with his players last Friday after spending a few days with his family following his return from New York.
Vilanova last attended a game on Jan. 19, when Barcelona was beaten 3-2 by San Sebastian.
The coach is being accompanied by his family and is not expected to be on the sideline on Tuesday.
