Bogota, Apr 16 (EFE).- Players from Brazil, Italy, France, Slovenia, Spain and Colombia will join Argentine striker Lionel Messi and several of his compatriots for a June 29 friendly in the northwestern Colombian city of Medellin, organizers said.
Besides Messi, Argentina is represented by Javier Mascherano, Emiliano Insua, Ricky Alvarez, Martin Demichelis, Pablo Aimar, Sergio Aguero and Agustin Orion.
Also taking part will be Brazil's Robinho and Diego Ribas, Italians Antonio Cassano, Pablo Osvaldo and Marco Materazzi, Eric Abidal of France, Marek Hamsik of Slovenia, Spain's Bojan Krkic and Colombians James Rodriguez, Dorlan Pabon, John Viafara, Mario Yepes, Giovanni Hernandez and Macnelly Torres.
Messi & friends will wear white for the match, while the Rest of the World squad will be clad in red.
Last year's first edition of the contest was played in Bogota and featured some of the same players along with stars such as Ezequiel Lavezzi, Dani Alves, Radamel Falcao and Diego Forlan.
