Houston, May 7 (EFE).- Guard Manu Ginobili was once again the hero for the San Antonio Spurs, hitting a three-point shot with less than three seconds left in the game to pull off a 129-127 win over the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals.
Ginobili had two three-pointers in nine attempts, but his second came at the most important time for the Spurs, who took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Nate Robinson, meanwhile, led the Chicago Bulls to a surprising 93-86 win over the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Robinson, who sustained a cut on the head that required six stitches in the early part of the game, scored 27 points, hitting eight of 16 field goals, including three of eight three-pointers, and was eight of 10 from the free-throw line.
He also dished out nine assists, grabbed three rebounds and had a steal.
